The alphabet people are upset, justifiably, by her very existence in this anime. But what they get wrong is acting as if her character is especially bad, when in reality she is equally as bad as most of the other extremely obsessed side characters who droll over Komi and hate anybody that goes near her. The only difference between this girl and those characters is that she is into girls.
What, you think since she is into girls, she should be exempt from being as obsessed as her classmates? She's here for comic relief, not a legitimate depiction of the alphabet people. There are plenty of lesbian characters in other anime that standout for being the only one depicted as horrible depictions of lesbians but this isn't one of them.
