Puck's dust has healing properties that come to use during Gatts' many battles, and Puck often plays the role of the innocent outsider that sympathizes with Gatts' sordid past while standing up for righteousness.

I like him in the manga, he provides some much needed levity to such a grim series plus him and Guts are a great duo.
I really like that Puck is the viewpoint character of this story.
I would react to the constant violence like Puck: disgust and sadness.
