People who don't like him are probably eren fans 

mans so weak and lame, i really appreciate the show not making him super powerful because of insert anime reasoning. main characters don't need to be op and its refreshing to see that he grows gradually through hard work. 

I actually really, really liked him when I first started the manga, I was genuinely shocked to see all the hate.

My favorite character precisely because he's weak and able to weaponize that weakness. No protagonist aura BS or winning from the power of friendship or eleventh hour power-ups. His victories are satsifying because they're hard-earned and his determination is incredible precisely because he's able to hold on to his beliefs and find ways to acheive them even when he's weak. 

This guy is so annoying and I can't explain why. All everybody do is sing praise to this guy when in actuality he isn't good and he doesn't deserve it. Yuma carry the team while he and the other teammates does nothing. He's gets credit for strategy's that anyone can come up with. I just understand why everyone in this series meat ride the hell out of this guy.
