The secretly strongest and most moral person in the series. I hated how she got phased out as the series went on, as she had so much more she could've contributed.
I love how in the 90's classic anime, Naru and Umino too, were such a interesting and strong characters even though they were simple background characters meant to give Usagi a socail life before the other main characters started showing up. I love how the writers treated Naru like someone relevent as a way of communicating collatoral damage between the senshi and Dark Kingdom/deppening Nephrite's character. It's unfortunate that she slowly fades away but regardless, classic anime Naru was a massive improvement from the manga/crystal. In the manga/crystal she's just the generic victim rather than a character in her own right. Classic Naru is a strong, dynamic and better person in the classic anime courtesty of the filler. We got a stronger sense of life, feelings and personality to her.
