Even with nostolgia glasses on I gotta admit: he's such a poorly written villain. Could've beaten Yugi so many times over throughout Battle City, but bent his minions and himeself over backwards to lose to him because they needed to continue the plot. Bakura and Pegasus have this problem to some extent too, but nearly as bad as Marik.
