I hate how they played into the "female rival" trope trying to make her a bad guy and ruin the main couple's bond. Like WHY COULDN"T SHE HAVE JUST BEEN A KIND-HEARTED FRIEND CHARACTER??? I hate the fact that this trope also kinda suggests that two cishet ppl of the opposite gender cant be friends like gtfo I honestly would've enjoyed this film more if she was just a platonic friend and not randomly crushing on the mc for like the last 30tsh minutes of the movie
