Woah, why do so many hate her? I thought she was awesome.
Mysterious, enigmatic, stoic, breathtakingly beautiful...the more I saw of her, the more I fell in love with Mai. She's blunt to the point of rude, laconic; Calm, cool, even cold at times. But filled with a dark inner passion and a desire to protect her friends from malevolent forces. When she bursts into tears and Yuichii cradles her tear-streaked face in his hands, I knew for sure I loved this character.
Something about stoic fascinates me...
