I refuse to like him

-Refuses to be gay,
-Keeps stuff clean,
-Doesn't violate woman,
-Doesn't simp for woman,
-Is a master at the art of... Fork.

Don't see what is unlikeable about him.

Now let me be blunt with y'all. First of all, particularly, this Mahiro doesn't have to be a lover to anyone if he wants to be independent. Second of all, generally there are a few male (lead) characters that are willing to beat up women in certain anime shows, and I kinda dig them since there is a lot of anime where females are allowed to hit men while they get respected ALL BECAUSE OF THEIR LOOKS! Look, GENDER LITERALLY MEANS NOTHING, AND GENDERS HAVE THE RIGHT TO HIT EACH OTHER! But at the same time, they should be caring and chivalrous too. We shouldn't be treated unequally guys. Men=Women

Everyone is bashing this dude for standing up for himself and not going out with someone he doesn't like. When he said he didn't like her everyone guilt tripped him into going on a date with her. Nyruko may have saved him before but that doesn't mean he has to accept her love.

This guy reminds me of Yui Funami who has a tomboyish voice and beats the girl who gets on his/her nerves.  The main difference is that Yui Funami is a far more likable character than this guy, because Yui is much more level-headed and has reasons to beat up Kyoko for a few amount of times, whereas this guy just outright beats the heck out of Nyaruko with his forks despite her saving and loving him.
