She really isn't quirky or bombastic - she's down to earth, emotionally stable, rational, and has a good head on her shoulders. Some might conclude that this makes her borning, but those qualities are precisely why she's endeared herself to me.
She's also very capable with her blade but, thankfully, doesn't have to unsheathe it all that often (after all, she's a princess - if she's fighting, something has gone very wrong).
