I am really happy to know that so many people like L. And he deserves to be the first of best loved anime characters. And yes, L is the winner after all.
L is the best thing by far in Death Note. Also L is one of the reasons why I fell in love with anime. I pretty much had to force myself to watch the rest of the episodes of DN, when L no longer appeared. Also I re-watched episode 25 a ton of times because I loved L in this one particularly so much.
