He was a mega weirdo, but I feel really, really bad for him. Ellis doesn't remember him, she's always cold to him and put off by him (understandably so), and when she actually reaches out to him and they have a somewhat normal moment together, she ends up ditching him. Nobody gives a damn after he's gone either, he's just tragic.
At first I thought he was a creepy stalker, but now I just feel really sorry for him. He actually became one of my favorite characters in the show, strangely enough.
