I don't think many of you had ever suffered the pain of feeling absolutely useless to help your own child. I don't think many of you have noticed that this woman is a plain old tsundere (yeah, but tsunderes are only cute when they are in a lighthearted story and are the main character with whom someone falls in love, I know, I know), that then decided to leave her child with the only person she could trust, after almost hiting her daughter with a glass of booze and deciding she was going to be no good for the little thing.
Sometimes leaving your children with someone who can take care of your children better than you do is for the best. Not everyone is cut out to be a good parent, and there are special situations that turn a good parent in a desperate and unreasonable being, that hurts him/herself and everyone around, including the person they care about the most. Sometimes people need some time to recover and gain strengh and then take responsability again.
I'm stuffed of all that 'I'm so goodie because I hate sex, death penalty, ... etc' philosophy that is going around the globe lately.
