I dunno- I feel really bad for him and I think that blaming the deaths on him is a little harsh. Sure, he talked to Mei but how was he supposed to know what would happen? (speaking as a manga reader, idk how it goes in the anime) so he did something completely ordinary and had no idea of the disastrous consequences it would bring down on everyone. I don't blame him at all.
And yeah, he is a little generic and he's not groundbreaking or anything, but... I still like him. He seems like just a normal boy.
His class could've been safe if he just didn't talk to the girl. But nah you gotta be HORNY
Keiichi but if Keiichi was written by a bad writer, Kouichi is so bland and generic that he manages to be blander than harem protagonists that are given bland physical appearances on purpose for viewers to self-insert into lmao, now isn't that something.
