Konatsu

Temperamental Konatsu has struggled with her lot in life ever since she was orphaned at a young age. Her father was the popular rakugoka Sukeroku II and Konatsu inherited his love and talent for the craft. Unfortunately, she is denied the opportunity to nurture her gifts due to her gender. She was adopted by another rakugoka, her father's friend Yakumo VIII, but their relationship is rocky because Konatsu suspects the man is responsible for her parents' deaths. Although she initially objects to Yakumo taking an apprentice, she eventually bonds with Yotarou over their mutual love of rakugo.
