After Yū's sister died in the first timeline he takes Sala Shane to see Kazuki (Nao's brother) and it worked, however Yū went back in time to save his sister and so he didnt meet Sala, that means that he didn't save Kazuki in the second timeline.
His name is Kazuki, and he's a pretty good character.
