She strings Jun along and is mean to him and takes advantage of his love for her. I just hate women like that! At least she finds a heart towards the end.
Jun crushes on her constantly but she hilariously blows him off. Her frosty attitude towards her terminally ill little sister is weird and not very nice and full of Sartrean "bad faith" and inauthenticity, a desire to escape legitimate suffering.
When Kaori finally acknowledges her little sister publically (the family resemblance is unmistakable) and lets slip some genuine love and affection for her, I began to feel better about this character.
