Tousen is the blind captain of the ninth protection squad and is close friends with Sajin Komamura. He has chosen to tread the path with the least amount of bloodshed, though he is far from being a complete pacifist. the most dripped out character in bleach
He had the best background arc and the biggest motivation in this entire story. Yet in the end it was only average. There was no real developming of his plans. It was only "I have to fix this society" ---- skip until final battle "now we fight" ---> "AHHHHHH"
Thats him, yes.
Easily one of my favorite characters in the series. His convictions for wanting to fix the clear problems with Soul Society, his very personal desire to avenge his friend, even that personal bitterness against "assimilating and dying a Soul Reaper" make him one of the most compelling characters in the show. Then add on the implicaitons of him not only having a Bankai, but a Hollow Mask and a Resurreccion and I find myself coming back to him as a wonder and oddity for Bleach lore.
Evidently, he didn't get the memo that they weren't really going to hollowify... Gin, didn't you tell him? Oops.
I think it was tragic ending for both him and gin u got to see the true side of them just before they slipped away from us truly sad :(
