I really love Yamato for the obvious reasons, buuuuuuuuut Kai is definitely my favourite. He's the type of boyfriend you really want. Even after it all he was still a really amazing friend to Mei and Yamato. And the way he always handled ol' bitchface Megumi. *chef kiss* Perfection. I'd pick him over Yamato for sure.
I love him as a character but seriously what purpose did he bring to the anime? Like he came for a revenge that he gave up in like 2 seconds after talking to Mei and then He all of a sudden is in love with her... but seriously the "big" conflict he brings he solved it himself and it last like what 2minutes? I see no point in him being in this 💁
He was better than Yamato. Hell he is the bigger man that helped him rather than try to steal Mei.
