I really like him as a villain. He's not one of those dumb, cliche, almost cartoonishly evil characters whose objective gets stated from their introduction and we watch fail every week like so many other anime. The mysteriousness of his character and having no idea what he wants makes him a lot more interesting to follow. Instead of loud and brash, he's quiet, calculating and deadly. We keep getting interesting bits from his conversations with Ellen, but nothing that's given anything away. Only now in season 4 are we finding out what he really wants, and it's genuninely got me invested in the story.

Except he can't be qualified to be a hate sink.
This dude's a total hate sink and his actions are horrific and unforgivable, but you gotta admit, he's an amazing villain! xD
As a villain he just makes me laugh every time he shows up. Seriously, Yoshinon makes a more menacing character.

He's a better villain than 90% of the mainstream anime antagonists imo. He's honestly in my top three favorites along with Dio and Makishima.
