I was really surprised to see how everyone loved Inaba rather, and said that Iori was "annoying".
Iori has way much more character development, she has a deep story building which acts as a clear justification for her actions. At first, I was also like huh she's not my type of character: an "airhead and really cute girl" she didn't seem interesting. I guess that's what many of you keep on thinking till the end. But, that's the whole point! She build up all these ideal personalities (keep in mind this is Japan) to please others and herself in a way. Idk, I was really moved by her, not by her "past" but rather the way a naive and wounded girl tried to live as she thought it would be better. And ofc of how at the end, she overcomes this and decided to live (and build) as her true self.
