Gabriel

One of the biggest disappointments of the season (other than the whole nonsense of an ending) was that Gabriel survived. The entire season seemed to be shaping her up to fall to evil, die, and be replaced by the much better character of Sofiel, but...Nope! She's still just...there. No character development, no change in position, no real role in the plot. Just sort of...there.

It might have helped this gender bent version of the arc angel Michael if they bothered to make her name at least sound a bit more convincingly female to separate her more from the one familar with many believers.  Anime so often do Western names horribly and you thought generic Engrish was bad.
