I think Eris has had the best character development in the entire series. Her swordsmanship is remarkable too!
**SPOILER**
However, as noble her intentions were, wanting to be helpful to Rudy, I can't forgive her for taking advantage of him and then leaving him at the end of the first season without saying anything. This to me is as good as betrayal. Now, she may have her regrets, but it's a no-no in my book.
Rudy was so happy when he woke up and Sylphie was there for him! This shows how much he was hurt.

She got character development so she became less unwarranted violent later on.
