You'd think he'd always just be a serious and scary bad guy but while he often is this, he's also really funny with lots of wuirks like his love for Kikurage and other little moments

I love how over the top this guy is. Everything I want from a rich character. His apathy towards humanesque characters is so funny to me, it's like he's only passionate about his dog. 

 Is it bad that I thought he was the best character in the show?

Interesting that they chose to make him as a main chraracter in retrospect of anime to manga. Nonetheless worked very well to have this rooster head :)
