I've only seen two episodes of Claire, but already I'm impressed. She may have a stern personality that's dissuading at first, but her backstory helps give her some sympathy for her character. I also have to praise her for putting up with small town boy and for her fighting style. In the first episode alone a Yoma shoved his hand cleanly through her stomach, but even then she was hardly fazed. To put it simply, she's the epitome of a BA girl.

I am 6 episodes in Claymore ans I love Clare. I hope more of her complexity comes through in later episodes. Plus she is hot as H*ll.

Definitely my favorite female anime character and she's up there for my favorite all time anime character as well.
