The only reason why I favorited him was because of Carnival Phantasm. Sureee, he may be hellbent on attacking others, but he has a heart, which is shown to Illya.
I don't get how anyone can hate what's essentially a monster. I mean, it's kinda a core element to a story, having some kind of obstacle for the protagonists.
He also doesn't talk, so he can't say dumb shit like the protagonist does.
Why would people hate Beserker? He's not a one dimensional serial killer, didn't anyone play the unlimited blade works route? He still has some of his past personality left. It's just that he ended up corrupted. Illya reminded him of a deceased child he knew bringing some of his past self back and he wants to protect her at all costs. Hell,

He even dies in Unlimited Blade Works protecting her.
Sheesh, did anyone actually PLAY the visual novel?
He may seem like a bad guy at first glance, but actually in the soul the Berserker is faithful and devoted. It is a pity that the anime shows it's not fully revealed - like in the VN.

He's a very intimidating character and I love it!
Though he doesn't speak at all, you can see that he cares for his master (Illya).
His interactions with Illya were great. And Illya trusts him a lot. If you watch Emiya-san chi no Kyou no Gohan, the better.
