I love her and I really want to know about her history especially after in season 2 ep 4 the pink guy said something about the country where they erased people's soul and memories - their QI/KI became transparent like hers.

TreeofWolf I see the reverse btw.  I see far too many lead characters who have some sort of twisted characteristic.  So in reality she is too common to me even from that standpoint.  I like some of them cause it fits better with the story.  Rize Kamishiro, Raphael Shiraha, Matsurika Shinouji, Akeno Himejima, Akiko Yosano, Nagi Sanzen'in, Louise La Valliere, Aria Kanzaki, Asuka Kudou, Claire Rogue, Ayano Kannagi, and so on are just a few similar lead female characters I know of with similar characteristics.  Most are better characters than Baobao.  I just listed them to show, such a lead female character is not that unique and this is just a small sampling.

I think you totally missed the reasons why I didn't like her as a character.  I would probably says he was a great character and even love her if she was actually a villain in the show instead since she does that far better.  But you see she treats the main guy character like total shit and does so for no reason.  Thus, I simply can't like her.  She has no character to build upon.  Did that guy some how beat her up in the past?  There was no hint or suggestion of that, she just enjoys beating everyone up good or bad.  Well thats the impression she gives at least.  So she would truly just make a better villain but because she is presented as a good guy but is worse than the bad guys, I have to hate her as a character.  She is too much like Louise from Familiar of Zero.

However, I will agree with you on the point of boring or repetitive characters or goofball unrealistic lame dream boy fantasy harem stories.  That doesn't excuse a bad or misplaced character.  You can still be different without so many bad qualities especially if you are supposed to be a good character or seeking help from another, you usually don't treat someone you seek help from like shit or who you are supposed to be protecting because, then they won't be likely to like or trust you.
