For those of you who don't read LN DxD, read LN. Asia in LN is stronger but plays a medical role and not a combat role, so she doesn't need combat skills. Asia will become bold later in the volumes, she has the dragon Fafnir, she can summon baby dragons.

I can't stand the way the author uses her. She's either the dasmal in destress that Issei and the team have to save from some nutjob villain or she's just used for more fanservice. I think she's a really sweet girl and she always optimistic even when she hit rock bottem. When Raynare drained her energy, her last words were her being thankful that she and Issei were friends. When Rias turned her into a devil she adapted very well even though she devoted herself to god. She forgave Xenovia for being rude and even cheered her up she had to become a devil. Even after the whole situation with Diodora and Shalba she still remained strong and positive!

She deserves more respect from the author, who literally tortures her at every chance he can just to "justify" having her in the harem.

Why is she so hated?
