Ash's Pikachu

Pikachu is Ash's first Pokemon. Though he can only say his own name, he still manages to communicate well with both Pokemon and humans, and makes friends easily. In battle, he makes use of powerful lightning attacks and quick strikes to beat most any opponent. He is occasionally very stubborn, refusing, for example, to enter a pokeball, even when commanded by Ash.
