He's adorable and relatable but what I love most about him is definitely his growth as a runner. Watching him having to be pulled around by a dog was hilarious but watching him genuinely running and putting his heart into it was more enjoyable. I love how you could tell that he genuinely wanted to run, genuinely wanted to get better. He literally had a treadmill next to his mountains of manga and bed. I forgot to mention it on my comment for kakeru but I just love their friendship so much. Watching kakeru read manga with him and hold up the manga as he ran on and off the treadmill was genuinely wholesome to see. How excited and wide he smiled near the end of the episode where kakeru finished up the race was adorable. Also he's best boy
