Aileen Lauren D'AUTRICHE

One of the best female protagonists imo, she actually has a personality. Which is a plus since we know how shonen loves to treat women (Ik this isn't a shonen anime, but there aren't many good female characters written in anime.) She's smart and knows what she wants, she cares about people, even ones that were rude/mistreated her. She isn't some weak damsel in distress, she's a talented melee fighter & knows how to make a plan. Even when she wasn't able to refer to her prior knowledge from the book. While she only wanted to marry the Ml for revenge in the beginning, their love story was so wholesome. Watching them grow as characters, and learn to connect & love eachother is my favorite part of romance anime. She's def in my top 3 females
