YGO GX and MFB are two shounen titles involving characters that battle each other with items (cards or tops) to become stronger. These types of series aren't terribly mentally challenging and tend to follow the same format, so if you liked one the other will be very familiar.

Digimon Season 2 is a continuation of the first season's story. Yu-Gi-Oh! GX is a fairly different story all together from its original. However, older characters do appear and the characters seem a bit lighter hearted (in both series that is). Basicly, both series present you with another story from a beloved series with more teenage characters with that teenage attitude.
