Both of these animes feature two characters, with one being more prominent, who enjoy one another's company.
Yoshiko HANZAKI: Ashita e Mukau Hito is about two characters who travel together on a journey while and Pigtails's journey is far more sedentary.
Characters in both feel more alive when they are together and desire to be with one another but they may not be able to remain together. The reasons may be different. One anime may be a music video and one may be a movie. One may features animalistic characters and the other humans. One may touch your heart more than another. But both are worth watching. For the beauty in nature. For the beauty in sound and music. For the beauty in carrying on in one's own way.
They are differnt but they share a similar theme.
The music in both is also delightful.
