After growing up in Tokyo, high school student Jin Kaito moves to Nagoya where he meets Yatogame Monaka, a fellow student who puts her Nagoya dialect on full display. With her cat-like appearance and unvarnished Nagoya dialect, Yatogame won't open up to him at all. This popular local comedy is increasing the status of Nagoya through observation of the adorable Yatogame-chan!

Niche, but worth a shot! Since this show is very short, I'll try not waste your time with a review that's longer than an episode. First of all this is a niche show, if you couldn't tell by the "tourism" and "educational" tags. If 2-4 of the following appeal to you, I'd say it might be for you: 1 Very short episodes 2 Some cute girls and (imo) better than average comedy 3 Fair amount of Japanese language skills recommended (a fair amount of the jokes do not hit in English) 4 Interest in everyday Japanese/Nagoya culture For my part, all 4 of these apply, so I am thoroughly satisfied. In my opinion, this show mixes entertainment value with educational value very well; though it may fall a bit closer to the entertainment side. Art, animation, music, voice acting aren't amazing but do their job well. Conclusion: It's not a masterpiece, but it delivered well on everything it promised - comedy, Nagoya, some cute girls/accents, comedy, Nagoya, etc. I would heartily recommend this to anyone who I believe fits the niche. If not, I probably wouldn't - unless you've exhausted all your cute girls and comedy options, or you really want a decent 3min/ep show for some reason.
