First of all, the art style used in the show was truly beautiful. The whole aesthetic, colours and backgrounds were so on point and lovable. This may be the only thing that made me watch it until the end. I believe that in romance films, there should be at least one extrovert in the relationship, if not at least a few around them, like friends, family, etc. If not, like in this anime, it becames extremely boring for me. This film could also be described as "one and a half hours of a bunch of old people and a bunch of introverts quietly talking." The idea was nice, a shy boy who loves haikus and a girl who has problems with loving her own features, but the way it turned out was awful. If weren't told, I probably wouldn't be able to figure out which ones were the main characters. There is absolutely no exciting scenes, for a really long time you wait for something to happen and then it just don't. In the end, they both did overcome their insecurities, but how? Their interactions weren't romantic in any way, they were never alone, they never had the time to fall in love. Repeating because it's the only thing I love about this anime, the art was brilliant, but the characters were simply trash.

Summary: I wouldn't recommend it if you like animes with a little bit action and excitement(not talking about physical interactions here, just maybe a few lines of romantic words?) because if you do, this anime is definitely not for you.

P.S. The guy's head looks like a damn lightbulb, could have had better proportions with him.

I really liked this anime, the animation, the colors and the style were really creative and unique.
It was a bit sad at one point but everything went well :)
In my opinion the characters were written so well and the final was a bit of a cliché but beautiful anyway, it's really worth the watch, I recommend it!!

Man when Netflix had the "feel-good" tag I thought I would go to sleep happy... instead I cried. Overall, I enjoyed the story. I wasn't expecting tears to be flowing twice but here we are! I would definitely recommend this to you if you like young romance!

i honestly really loved this movie, showing two different types of insecurities and how they interfere with our everyday lives. i thought the romance in this movie was so adorable and i couldn't stop blusjing the whole time. it was amazing how different it was with all the haikus in the movie. the colour palette of this movie was so cheerful and happy, it really popped. the animation style was soo cute and unique in my opinion but really fit with the story. it really made me want to watch it again and again, i think i might just do that.

I liked a lot, as it showed that we shouldn't care about those complex we carry with us. It's not necessary that people will comment on you and even if they do it's not like they ever cared in the first place.

The haiku he spoke in the movie were really breath taking like reveling a daily life or someone diary. To some I think such small things hold an important part. And the movie showed it beautifully.

More or less it's amazing how you could express things like that. (That's why I love anime(❁´◡`❁))

Well the movie was simple and to the point and very relaxing. It's a good movie to spend some time, be it a late night entertainment or an evening fun time or afternoon break time (let's leave morning for a bit peace of mind (^ω^))
