I would consider both shows to be virtually identical: a normal person is sent to another world where they immediately become the most overpowered person in the world. Both also have the main characters teach their friends how to become stronger. The differences lie in tone and the main characters themselves. In Grandchild, the main character enjoys his powers and the story has a more serious tone. In Abilities, the main character tries (and fails) to hide her powers, keeping the tone more comedic.

If you want isekai anime with a slice of life feel and overpowered main character, these fit the bill to the letter.

The Irregular at Magic High School: Visitor Arc

The Irregular at Magic High School: Visitor Arc

Miyuki's classmate Shizuku Kitayama is on her way to study abroad. For magicians, this is normally impossible, since allowing the genes of someone who can use magic outside their home country's borders is tantamount to giving up national secrets. But it's allowed to happen in one case-exchange programs. And that's how Angelina has arrived in Japan from the USNA to study at First High. But it seems she's a part of something much bigger than a simple cultural exchange!

Same school concept and same magic; Both characters are OP as well. They both have some sort of romance in them and includes fighting. The only difference is the time.

BOFURI: I Don’t Want to Get Hurt, so I’ll Max Out My Defense.

She may be new to gaming, but Maple has found the secret to invincibility! Just put all your skill points into defense until you can’t even move. That works, right? She doesn’t want to experience any pain in the VRMMO game she started playing, and somehow it works better than anyone expected. Now she’s got followers??

If you like BOFURI: I Don’t Want to Get Hurt, so I’ll Max Out My Defense, OR Wise Man's Grandchild you will definitly like the other

Because mainly both animes have this comedic nature of the MC having no idea how OP they are. Both MC are in a group that has rediculous people in it but the are the most amazing once.

Watching Maple made me instantly think of Shin. you know how they're so oblivous of how they are and the people around them are just speechless and dumbfounded of the things they do. I highly suggest you watch the other if you like ethier one.
