Welcome to Demon School, Iruma-kun - Reviews

This is mostly wholesome show from its design including downright musical scenes. It’s almost perfect kids’ show with fun adventures and wholesome moments except some romantic comedy elements, which do feel more suitable for older audience. What the show is about? It follows young boy Iruma as he finds new and better life in daemonic realm, where he was brought in by Sullivan. Sullivan is powerful daemon, who bought Iruma from his parents to have him be his grandkid. Iruma enters magical school in daemon realm, where finds friends and has various adventures. Iruma is very good boy even to the point it being downside. He has some strange habits and notions from his earthly life, where he had to survive on his own in harsh conditions. The show makes obvious hints Iruma is to become the daemon king and the story is to follow his journey to that point. It’s intriguing how is that going to happen, especially because he is human. This is long running series so it may take more than hundred episodes to get to that finale if ever.

Beside the main character Iruma are his closest friends. The first is young boy Alice, who becomes his number one fan girl and follows Iruma devotedly. The second is girl Clara, who likes to play games and wreaks havoc everywhere she goes. Her large family brings many wholesome and uplifting songs to the series. There are number of reoccurring characters including classmates, teachers and many more. One other worth mentioning is student president Amelie, which is the primary source of many romcom situations with Iruma as she is very romantic at heart and fell in love with him.

If there is something I didn’t like that much, it was the battler arc in second half of the first season. Also, crossdressing part, where Iruma is forced to be idol is not something I was big fan. It’s another bit making the show not suitable for kids.

The series is audio-visually nice. I like the OP and ED.

The initial twist is very reminiscent of Hayate no Gotoku, where MC in similar manner is abandoned by his good for nothing parents, but the show is so much better. This is very easy to watch series, if you want something uncomplicated, bit fun and wholesome … with lot of episodes.

I was kinda irritated from the dragged out plot for one of the scenarios substantial to the story, but other than that, this show is so wholesome and cute, I love it! 

this anime was an overall well made piece of animation, the story didn't take itself too seriously which for the type of anime it was, worked really well and the actual animation itself was enjoyable to watch, the animators did a great job with the series. The music was well done and the characters themselves were well made with interesting backstories and personalities, though sometimes those personalities did get a bit too much for me personally in the cases of them coming off as annoying or just getting old/stupid.

This anime in general is a great watch but if you need something to brighten up your day, this is the perfect solution. Welcome to Demon School Iruma-Kun is top quality humour with a broad demographic being aimed at, meaning they have all sorts of jokes for all sorts of people. The anime itself story wise stayed interesting the entire way through while also causing laughter to echo throughout my house from its comedic approach. as I said earlier the characters are great and they have a great variety of them, which helps people to relate to them and become more invested when there are characters they can relate to, seeing what effect they have on each episode and how the contribute to the anime as a whole.

YALL PLEASE WATCH THIS ITS SUPER CUTE I loved this anime!! All the characters are so lovable and its literally the my parents sold me to one direction fanfics BUT ANIMATED. Seriously though I found this to be a great show and I hope more people will watch it and support it.
