In a ruined future Nerima, a photon energy disaster is said to have devastated the area. No one knows whether that is true or not, and details are hard to come by. All that is left is the photon research facility tower that stands as a monument at the center of the devastation. Z-chan and Gre-chan live together in the Shutter District, which spreads from the base of the tower. Their home is made from salvaged materials that they have named Photon House. The advanced photon energy that flowed through the place is now gone, and the world is now ruled by the Getter Rays that rain down from space. But even now, Z-chan and Gre-chan use the highly efficient photon energy to power their home.

During a fierce battle to protect the Angel Base from rebel invaders, Milfeulle saves the Angels’ lives by running away with a rogue grenade. Then one day Col. Volcott and Major Mary of the Twin Stars receive letters informing them that they will swap jobs. With Mary now in command of the Angel Team, Volcott takes charge of the Twin Stars. Desperate to prove that he is not as incompetent as he looks, Volcott needs the Twin Stars to complete a mission successfully. However when the two boys make a mistake say something forbidden to him, Volcott begins a crazed rampage for revenge. Will anyone be able to stop him?

With the Meijin using the Ballistic Zaku, the successor to the Zaku Amazing, and Allan using the Reversible Gundam, a customized version of the Reborns Gundam, they each choose an AI and begin the Gunpla Battle of their dreams.
