Ai, Mai and Mii are three would-be manga artists who can't seem to stay out of trouble, let alone complete a project! Whether they're having a one-off encounter with the forest dweller Yamu, becoming human sprinklers, entering manga battles or entering a doujinshi fair, the trio have fun one day at a time.

While Ai Mai Mii is way over the top with it's ridiculous situations, both of these shows are very similar. They're very short, are about high school students, and don't have any overarching plot line. Each episode consists of jumping from one joke to the next without much context. If you liked one, you'd most likely enjoy the other.
Both anime feature short gags about a group of girls doing random things, most jokes are quick and before you know it the episode is over and you still don't really understand what happened. For that reason, if you enjoyed the style of the comedy in one of these shows then try out the other.
Pipimi and Popuko are two typical 14-year-old girls with endless energy. Together, the two become the stuff of memes by having shootouts in space, traversing video game worlds, stealing an umbrella from [redacted], or other spastic misadventures.

If you like random comedy where you never know what is going to appear on screen next then these are the shows for you. Both series throw rapid fire jokes at the screen as fas as they can. Not all the jokes land, but there's so many of them that they'll still have you in stitches.
