Reasons you might like Ai Mai Mii...

While Ai Mai Mii is way over the top with it's ridiculous situations, both of these shows are very similar. They're very short, are about high school students, and don't have any overarching plot line. Each episode consists of jumping from one joke to the next without much context. If you liked one, you'd most likely enjoy the other.

AngelBeatsYui AngelBeatsYui says...

Both anime feature short gags about a group of girls doing random things, most jokes are quick and before you know it the episode is over and you still don't really understand what happened. For that reason, if you enjoyed the style of the comedy in one of these shows then try out the other.

So if you liked Usakame you should give Plastic Nee-San a try. You won't be dissapointed.

Both of these anime are short gag anime that follow a group of high schoolers doing the most random of things. There's no story, no development but are comedic, if you liked the structure of the comedy in one of these anime you'll probably enjoy the other.

On the other hand, laid-back Tsukasa always manages to go with the flow, while Miyuki is concerned with keeping her status as resident know-it-all. Join these four girls as they muse and meander their way through everyday events such as eating chocolate cones, doing homework, gaming, and trips to the beach galore.

Although Usakame has shorter episodes and a faster pace, it's fairly similar to Lucky Star. Both are chill comedies about high school girls who talk about random topics and do random things. There is no overarching plot to either. If you liked Usakame, you might like the better Lucky Star.

If you liked the random comedy in Usakame and you're craving for more then you should check Kigurumikku V3 out. Both shows lack an overarching plot and pretty much go from one joke to another. Keep in mind Kigurumikku V3 is a bit ecchi at times, but you will enjoy it anyway.

Excel Saga has a similar feeling than Usakame and share the same kind of random, nonsensical comedy. The main difference between each other is the episode lenght, but if you're up for a show with a similar humor and full-lenght episodes then Excel Saga is for you!

If you like random comedy where you never know what is going to appear on screen next then these are the shows for you. Both series throw rapid fire jokes at the screen as fas as they can. Not all the jokes land, but there's so many of them that they'll still have you in stitches.
