Both of these idol shows are VERY similar. They are both about a large cast of guys looking to become pop idols, and their journey of learning and industry hardships. They're a semi-realistic look at the idol industry, but with an overall lighthearted tone. I think if you'd like one, you'd really enjoy the other.

While Hypnosis Mic comes off as a bit silly due to its un-realistic plot, I think these will apeal to the same people. They both have large casts of pretty idol boys who work hard to be the best in their industry. Great music and, of course, drama!

While Wake Up Girls is a bit less "colorful", I think idol fans of one show might enjoy the other. Both are about beginner idols, their growth, their relationships, and of course, their drama. They both also have decent music.
