Nobita Nobi is so hapless that his 22nd century descendants are still impoverished as a result of his 20th century bumbling. In a bid to raise their social status, their servant, a robotic cat named Doraemon, decides to travel back in time and guide Nobita on the proper path to fortune. Unfortunately, Doraemon, a dysfunctional robot that the family acquired by accident (but chose to keep nonetheless), isn't much better off than Nobita. The robot leads Nobita on many adventures, and while Nobita's life certainly is more exciting with the robot cat from the future, it is questionable if it is in fact better in the way that Doraemon planned.

But now Yoichi, as Luckyman, must defend the Earth from aliens invading to conquer it.

She broke things everywhere she went and when the repair bills added up, Maris found herself in deep debt. Professional wrestling wasn't enough to keep the debts at bay so she took up work with the Space Patrol's Special Police! A call from her boss gives news that she hopes will change her life forever --she is being sent on a mission to save the kidnapped son of a wealthy politician. Her plan is to rescue the boy, but her motive is to steal his heart and gain his fortune in the process!

The anime's plot is taken from the 41st volume of the original manga's "Figure Wars" story. The story begins when toys of Oban, a character from a tokusatsu (special effects) television show, becomes popular, but also loses popualrity quickly. Many unsold Oban toys are thrown away. A bolt of lightning strikes one of these toys one day, and gives it life. Alongside other toys thrown away by people, Oban swears revenge on humans, and attacks. At the same time, Oban's sworn enemy Chuukounen Kamen is also given life. Chuukounen Kamen, normally a middle-aged, overweight, and depressed man, powers up by eating cup noodles. Alongside Shinnosuke, he will fight to reclaim peace for the world.
