With a history of leading a motorcycle gang and getting bad grades in school, why would 22 year old Onizuka ever want to become a teacher? Is it to educate young minds or spread the joy of education? Sure, if it involves being able to look up high school girls' skirts! Watch as this would-be educator uses his own life lessons and unconstituted methods as a means to control a delinquent class of students -- students who certainly aren't as happy to have him as a teacher as he is happy to be teaching...

GTO and Denpa Kyoushi feature two less-than-conventional teachers whose unorthodox methods of teaching convey valuable life lessons to their students. There's definitely some big atmospheric & animation differences in the two shows, mostly because GTO aired 15 years ago! But if you have enjoyed the storyline of one, I do think it's worth trying the other.
GTO (old school) and Denpa Kyoushi (more modern) both feature two teachers who help their sudents overcome and learn valuable life lessons without repeated storylines and outcomes in each. If you liked one you will definatly like the other without getting bored!
Denpa Kyoushi is pretty much the watered down modern version of Great Teacher Onizuka, I don't mean that as an insult since both series are so different yet so similar there's no denying that denpa is nowhere near as good as GTO. It's still enjoyable despite that fact however.
The "Royal Tutor" is a special tutor carefully selected for the task of teaching the prince, and a title given only to the best teacher in the nation. Heine Wittgenstein has been called to the kingdom of Grannzreich to take on the role of the Royal Tutor. He's been ordered to raise a worthy candidate for the throne, but he's greeted with four princes of completely different, unique personalities... all brothers, no less! How will Heine handle these four brothers who were too much for all the previous Royal Tutors, prompting them all to run away from the job?

Both teachers are a little quirky. One looks like a child while the other is more childish due to his fascination with manga/anime, but they're both super smart. They both give interesting life lessons that help the other characters grow and develop. The humor in each keeps me watching.
In both anime's the MC is a genius teacher who in "The Royal Tutor" looks young and in "Ultimate Otaku Teacher" is pretty young. They both have troublesome students who are hard to deal with and will not accept them as a teacher but in the end the MC becomes loved by all the students.
If you haven't watched any of these anime's you really have to watch them. You'll regret not watching them. If you don't like then anime then whatever but, at least try them out.
- Both characters are super smart
- Both teach good lessons
- Both characters are trying to get there students to accept them
- Presitigious school, royals
If you like one you will like the other.

The main characters are quite similar. They both are otakus and both of the anime has a spice of harem.I recommend it cause if you like Denpa Kyoushi, you'll like TWGOK and Vice-versa.
In Denpa Kyoushi, the teacher is an anime otaku who has ''YD'',I can only do what I Yearn to Do.Somehow his sister manages to get his a job as a teacher in his old high school despite his reluctance and then begins his ''lectures'' that changes the world of the high-school students.
In TWGOK,the main character is a gamer otaku who is also known as ''God of Conquest'' in the virtual game world but in the real world he is known as ''Otamegane'' a mixture of ''Otaku'' and ''Megane''.One day,he is sent a message of game quest but in reality it is a contract from hell to capture some ''loose souls'' that escaped from the hell.Refusal of contract results in death and so he begins the ''Conquest of caturing loose souls'' and also a few hearts of girls.

You can right away see quite a similar vibe in two stories about a smart character trying to teach/tutor others in unconventional non traditional ways. In both cases, the lead teacher like character is challenged by his troublesome students and comes up unusual yet ingenious and successful ways of dealing with them.
Male nursery teacher "T-sensei" shares the often comedic experiences of his life taking care of children.
Hoshi-sensei, a Japanese language teacher at an all-girls school, is at the mercy of his students and colleagues. Students challenge him to their shiritori word games illustrated in their daily notes, convince him to bring a dog into the classroom, and seek his advice on becoming a manga artist, while colleagues drag him along on their rounds to the pub. Matter-of-fact interactions between a cast of unique characters make for an offbeat comedy.
