The story centers around Chizuru, who moved from Yamaguchi to Tokyo, and cannot keep up with the pace of her studies. Losing sight of her dream because of discouraging marks in practice exams, she talks to her former classmate Shouta, and slowly begins changing the way she studies.

PSA about grit. Keep studying. Focus on your weaknesses one at a time and improvement will happen. Getting a call from your childhood friend doesn't hurt. You don't do it alone. Join a study group, get your friend or friends to quiz you. Don't use lunch just eat. Put solid effort in and you can achieve your dreams. Study not hard, but well. Cramming is not beneficial long-term, if you are looking to have a career, planning is essential. The earlier the better. If 11th grade has snuck up on you it's really time to knuckle down and get serious. Let us not forget forget physical activity. If you’ve been looking for some inspiration to hit the books, this is for you.
