Both Angelic Layer and Tristia have the same kind of style where the human controls the doll/golem. Angelic Layer has more of a storyline, though.

Demonbane and Tristia might seem like they have little in common, when in reality, they are both entertaining and comical romps into the realm of mecha. Don't let the mecha thing fool you, each has its merit besides just the mecha aspect! Great animation for both as well. Check it out.
