With newfound mecha power and animalistic machines, Dagwon will defend Earth from mummifying monsters, giant ants, and more!

The evil organization known as SHADOW seeks to destroy the Galactic Patrol, a peace-keeping force of the United Planets. SHADOW's efforts are repeatedly thwarted, however, by the Mighty Orbots - a group of five robots with unique powers and abilities such as massive strength and the power of transformation. Led by their secretive inventor Rob Simmons, the Mighty Orbots – separately or joined as a single unit – can fight off any threat. Time after time, the Mighty Orbots are called away from their lighthearted adventures to combat the forces of SHADOW, and time after time, they succeed!

The original six-minute "pilot" featured a slightly different version of Might Orbots called Broots (pronounced "Brutes"). Rob and Ono looked similar to their 'finished' selves, though definitively more late 70s-like. The Orbots, while having the same names as in the finished product, are subtly different, and obviously unfinished. Even their combined form aka "Super-Broots" would go through some more developmental evolution before becoming Mighty Orbots.

The story follows a boy who is tasked with protecting "legend discs" with the help of the Transformers in the Warring States period and in the modern day. The Swordbot Samurai Team is made up of Kenzan, the police car Transformer who practices the "Emergency Two-Sword Style" of swordsmanship, Jinbu, the jet Transformer who will never lose a battle of speed, and a practitioner of the "Super Aerial Sword Style," and Ganoh, the fire truck Transformers with unparalleled power and the "Fire-Fighting Charging Style." While each can transform into a robot on their own, they can combine in multiple ways to form three unique giant robots — Go-Kenzan, Go-Jinbu and Go-Ganoh, depending on who is the head. In addition there is the Swordbot Shinobi Team: the Gekisoumaru Lion Ninja of Land, Hishoumaru Hawk Ninja of Wind, and Sensuimaru Shark Ninja of Water.

Two years have passed since the legendary force Build Divers battled the second Coalition of Volunteers to save the EL-Diver. Gunpla Battle Nexus Online (GBN), where these events took place, has been upgraded to provide sensory feedback for more realistic play. But as GBN becomes even more exciting, there are Divers who play with their own motivations in mind. Hiroto is a Diver who wanders alone through the Dimension, playing as a mercenary. Kazami is a frivolous, independent Diver who joins one party after another, pursuing the one he admires. May is a solo Diver surrounded by an aura of mystery, who plays Gunpla Battle night and day. And Parviz is a lonely novice Diver who is interested in team play, but out of shyness, he has never managed to seize the opportunity. Each of them is alone, but the course of events will end up uniting them into a new team of Build Divers. What awaits Hiroto and the others is a boundless super-experience that far transcends GBN.
