There are many similarities to HxH and Tower of god like: The ranking system.  A Ranker in Tower of God is the equivalent to a Hunter in HxH. The protagonists are trying to be Rankers, i'll let you find out more about these guys. High rankers are the top 1% of Rankers, the best of the best, the creme de la creme. Noobies who enter the tower start at E-Class, and they need to work their way up the tower to increase their rank to D, then C, then B etc etc, also similar to HxH's ranking system.

EnjuAiharaFan EnjuAiharaFan says...

The two anime are very alike!

Tower Of God is startng out much like the first arc of HxH

Both take place in a building where every level has a new boss you have to beat to get to the next level. There is only one episode released of Tower of God when I'm writing this, but I'm getting kinda similar vibes from it.

Kibo Kibo says...

These anime's has the same vibe to it, so if you liked angels of Death, u might like Tower of God. I really love both. I would say that Tower of god might be easier to watch than Angels of death as it is colourful, interacts with more lovley characters. Tower a god seems like a little warmer anime. (only 4 ep in)

Same concept but on an inverse way if I could say, on Tower of God, the objective is to go up. On Made in Abyss is go to the bottom.

Two overpowered main characters who have lost their memories.
