Both movies feature boys who end up taking care of animals from the wild then outsiders find out and wish to take over which will of course end up terrible for the animals (dinosaur in Coo's case, seal in Tottoi). They are quite old so the look is similar as well. Check either of these titles out if you liked the other.

Kiki is a young witch who has just turned thirteen, and as tradition dictates she must now leave the safety of her home for a year to undergo witch training.
