I love the art style in this, but it made me scream "MOTTAINAI"! This seems to be the story of a depressed waitress struggling against the existential emptiness of everyday life until she discovers the magic of LSD (off camera, I guess) and is suddenly drawn into a world of imaginary clothing and giant cakes. With such an endearing art style, I want to see this talent applied to full-cour anime instead of a goofy "uplifting" short. As it stands this is something like listening to Mozart play showtunes on a penny whistle.
