Usagi Tsukino is a second-year middle school girl who is a little clumsy and a crybaby, but she is full of energy. One day, she meets Luna, a black cat with a crescent moon on her forehead, and she transforms into Sailor Moon, a sailor-uniformed pretty guardian of love and justice! As a chosen guardian of justice, Usagi seems to have a mission to find the Illusionary Silver Crystal with the other guardians and to protect the princess. Meanwhile, the queen of the Dark Kingdom, Queen Beryl, also sends minions to the town where Usagi lives to obtain the Illusionary Silver Crystal, which has immense power. This causes strange events to unfold… Can Sailor Moon really find the Illusionary Silver Crystal with the other Sailor guardians, and protect the princess…!?

Both of these shows are remakes of magical girl shows at least a decade old. They are both a bit closer to the manga, by cutting out many filler episodes. If you lhave less time and want to check out some classics, both of these might be for you, and if you already tried one you'd probably get some enjoyment out of the other.

Both of these shows are about animal-themed magical girls who work in a cafe together. And of course, they are trying to save the world between customers. If you liked the theming on one, I think you'd like the other as well.

The kingdom of CooKingdom is a place responsible to all the cuisine in multiple world. However the kingdom's precious treasure, the Recipe-Bons are stolen by a bunch of phantom thieves named the "Phantom Bundle Gang" whose aim is to monopolize every cooking of the world for themselves by capturing the Cooking Fairy ReciPipi. As a result, three Energy Fairies from the kingdom were sent to the human world in the town of Oishiina Town, who one of them met a 13-year-old Yui Nagomi and her friends, Kokone Fuwa and Ran Hanamichi to become Pretty Cures in order to bring the Recipe-bons back where they belong.

Love bright, colorful, happy magical girls? Then you'll probably like both of these shows! While their specific sub themes are different (animals and food), they both aired in the same year, so they are similar in quality. Tokyo Mew Mew New is just a bit more faster paced due to the show's short seasons.

One thousand years after the Giant Warriors caused an apocalyptic event known as the seven days of fire, humans are living in constant fear of the Toxic Jungle. The following day soldiers from the powerful nation of Tolmekia invade the Valley of the Wind to reclaim and revive the warrior. As the only one who truly believes that there is a way for humans to live alongside the insects, Nausicaa must find a way to stop the war that now threatens her people and protect the Toxic Jungle before the Tolmekians burn it to the ground.
