Tokyo Ghoul: Jack - Reviews

30 mins of Awesome Tokyo Ghoul action!                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                The Story takes place 12 years prior to TG season 1 ,when CCG investigator Taishi Fura was a rebellious teenager, one day his friends aki and ryou attacked by Lantern ghoul,Taishi Fura joins young CCG investigator Kishou Arima to hunt down Lantern ghoul to take revenge.

The Animation is one of the best works done by Studio Pierrot with great use of bright colors in daytime giving it a school anime feeling to this dark series.

The BGM was done quite well.

The Characters lack some depth but they do a great job at showing the point view of humans towards ghouls similar to CCG investigator Amon from main series.

Overall with a great story and characters makes a perfect high school students vs ghouls anime.

The ova was just so amazing!

I loved every second of it tbh.

It was so flawless.

The ending just had me so happy!

You just need to watch it!!!

Plot for this one is good and straight forward, you already know your main characters if you've been watching Tokyo Ghoul. I liked this as an origin story and was pretty happy with it.

Animation was awesome, great fight scenes as expected from the other Tokyo Ghoul series and wonderful dark and light contrasts.

Sound was equally done well, everything was on point with an equally awesome ending theme.

Again, character wise, if you have been watching the series you know them, but with this being an origin story you kinda understand them more and how Ghouls brought them together. Kinda.

Overall this is a good one to watch. I decided to watch this particular one after the beginning of Season 2 of Tokyo Ghoul:re, but before the Goat arc. Recommend this one to anyone who is a fan of the series and manga.
